B&B Candelária nestles in the village of Monte Seco, in the centre of the Algarve. It’s ideal for those who are seeking a tranquil retreat away from the busy world or want to enjoy the Portuguese hospitality and the beauty of nature.
Monte Seco is perfectly situated if you like to discover the Algarve on your own.
It’s just 15 minutes by car to the nearest beach same for Alte, the white village in the countryside. Within an hour you are at the Spanish border or you reached the Cabo de São Vicente, the end of the world, at the west coast. All worth a visit.
B&B Candelária
Candelária is a lovely, renovated traditional house with nice small details and a rustic character.
On the ground floor are 5 rooms, each one having a private entrance, a own style and its own private bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin.
On the first floor Candelária has a large living room with an open kitchen area. The kitchen is communal. You can prepare your own meals or if desired we can cook for you. In this space is a fridge filled with soft drinks, beer and wine, you also can put here your own drinks. Furthermore, there is a bookcase with books for all tastes, a TV, games and wireless internet connection.
On the same floor there is a roof terrace with beautiful views over the valley, where you can relax in the hammock or a sun lounger. Here you can enjoy your extensive breakfast.
In front of the house lays the garden with a big terrace with sun loungers, some fruit trees that provide shadow, an outdoor shower which can provide for a fine refreshment and a small playground for the children where they can play freely.
Monte Seco
Candelária lies on a hillside in the village of Monte Seco, in the surroundings of Loulé. The village is only half an hour away from Faro airport. Within 20 minutes you reach the market town of Loulé or you will be in the centre of the tourist resort of Albufeira.
In the village there are several typical tavernas and one of them has a small grocery shop.
Candelária is perfectly situated for those who enjoy walking. There are plenty of trails for hikers and some for mountain bikers.
The surroundings are abundant in almond, olive and carob trees and the small river, the Ribeira d'Algibre, is close by. |
